My then home was broken into 3 times, and wife pregnant. I had to better the situation immediately. I was referred to Dustin and right away he made us feel as ease. He had a model home in progress and allowed us to make changes we wanted, pick out colors, without any hesitation. Whatever questions or concerns I had he took the time to explain everything down to the smallest detail. I'm well past my new construction warranty and Dustin still is willing to fix issues, or assist in anyway he can. I'll always be grateful to him and Cory for all they did. We built our house with Harpe Development beginning in August 2010. Our home was completed in December 2010. I was beyond pleased with Harpe's ™ customer service and quality of work. We built a custom home with Harpe and the quality exceeded our expectations. We spent 2 years researching builders and meeting with several different ones before choosing Harpe. We are so happy with our decision and would choose them in a second if we did it all over again. Our process from start to finish was exceptional. Dustin, Cory and the rest of the Harpe team were great to work with. Anytime I had a question they were right there to answer it and made us feel like very valued customers. I bought a spec home from Dustin and Cory in June of 2009 (Heritage Model). What attracted me to this home was the extra details that made the house stand out from other homes I had viewed, in addition to the amazing price. I was absolutely amazed at the customer service that I received, if I needed something or had a question it was answered immediately. It was this factor that made my decision to build with Harpe Development for my second home the simplest decision ever. I had walked thru their Parade of Homes Arlington model and knew instantly that I had to have a version of it! I put my Heritage model up for sale and in this economy not only was I able to sell it in a week and a half but I even made a profit on it - the home sold itself! Dustin and Cory worked around my work schedule in order to ensure everything was to my liking and here I am a few months later with a beautiful home that has several extras that other builders charge you an arm and a leg for - for fun I compared Dustin's prices to Korndoerfer's and I was able to save $**,*** AND deal with people who actually cared about me as a customer and not their profit at the end of the day. Building with Harpe Development was one of the greatest experiences I've ever had and if I ever get the desire to move again there is no doubt in my mind that I will be building with Dustin and Cory again. I recently built a home with Harpe Development, having come home from my honeymoon to a burned-down house. My husband and I were absolutely devastated - we had no place to live, no possessions, etc. and it was supposed to be the happiest time of our lives. Fortunately, we had heard great things about Harpe Development for several years and we compared them against multiple other builders in Southeastern Wisconsin. Harpe Development could not only build us what we wanted, but they could build us our dream home in the price range we could afford. In four months flat, Harpe Development built our new home and we love it! They were very responsive throughout the entire process, and they continue to be responsive to any questions we may have even now that we've moved in. I would recommend Harpe Development to anyone!! We didn't like the houses on the market, and never thought we would be able to afford to build, but Harpe Development not only helped us build our new house, but we were able to make changes on the fly and pick out the house WE wanted, not the ones that the other developers sell you and charge you an arm and a leg to make changes to. Harpe meets with you throughout the process to make sure you are making your decisions on your house options, and even after the house is done to make sure that your house is what everything you dreamed it to be. Our punch list at close was done within a week, and everything has been great. Dustin, Cory and Jason made us feel extremely comfortable during the process and even made ... My family and I are extremely happy with our new home built by Harpe Development. We were able to customize many of the things in our house with out issue. Many of the other builders only produce cookie cutter homes, with little or no alterations; this is not the case at all with Harpe. Dustin was upfront and honest about everything throughout the entire process. Everyone did a great job of taking care of any issues or changes immediately. No matter how many times my wife or I called, emailed or texted, they got back to us right away. Everyone at Harpe did everything they could to make sure that we were completely satisfied with the entire process. Since we have been in our house, any issue (there have been very few) is taken care of immediately. I would highly recommend Harpe to anyone who is building a new home. We bought our lot a few years ago and summer 2010 decided we were ready to build. We met with a few different builders in the area and spent weeks researching and meeting, one of which was Harpe Development. We found Harpe to be the most honest and upfront, a lot of their standard features were upgrades elsewhere, which helped their price come in a lot lower than the others (30k-40k lower!) and Dustin took us through several of his homes in different stages of the building process so we seen the quality work at all phases. We had no problems deciding on Harpe as our builder and Sept 2010 we got started. Dustin quoted us a mid December completion date, which I thought would never happen. Their architect, was awesome and made everything happen that we wanted in our house. Cory Harpe walked us through all the interior selections and was so helpful and had great ideas for us when we struggled, she was great! I spent a lot of time at the house during the build. What I realized was that the subcontractors Harpe uses are very professional, clean and do great work as does his entire staff. Dustin was also at the site hundreds of times and made sure everything was going as scheduled. As promised Dec. 11th we moved in!!!! I have several friends that spoke of horror stories and stress in the building process. And punch lists 2-3 pages and that 2 years later they are still not completed. We had no stress and actually enjoyed the entire process! Our punch list was only a couple items, which is due to Dustin managing the process so well, As soon as an issue arose he dealt with it. Here we are Jan.4th 2011 and the items on our punch list are either already done or scheduled to be. We love our home and are 100% happy with Harpe Development. |

We wanted to build a new home and spent a lot of time talking to many builders in SE WI. Some were like slick used car salesmen and we couldn't get a straight answer out of them. Others wanted tons of money for a small, cheaply built home and for any little upgrade. When we talked to Dustin and Cory they were able to give us honest answers right away to all our questions. We added on to our home and still came away with a beautiful, quality new home at an unbeatable price. Any concerns were addressed immediately and our home was done in three months as quoted. We have been in our home almost one year and are very happy with it. We highly recommend Harpe!

My wife and I decided to build a new home, which was a first for both of us, and after looking at several builders in the SE Wisconsin area we finally decided to build with Harpe because of the strong reputation that they had rapidly gained as building great homes at great prices. So after meeting with Dustin and Cory we knew we had made the right decision since they made us feel very comfortable about the building process and could easily be reached if we had questions, and trust me we had a ton of questions, and they were great about answering all of them. The process of building a new home was overwhelming with all of the choices we had to make, but Dustin and Cory made this overwhelming process a lot easier for us by helping us along the way. If you are looking to build a new home I would highly recommend selecting Harpe Development as your builder, you won't be disappointed.

Our family decided it was time to move up to a bigger home. As we started looking at existing houses, we realized we could not find exactly what we were looking for in our price range. That all changed when we walked into the Harpe Development model and met with Dustin and Cory, the owners. Dustin quickly assessed what we were looking to build and showed us a couple of prints that were within our price range. Although there was no pressure to sign a contract or build with him that day, he was very happy to take us to view a house, in trim stage, similar to the print we liked so we could get a feel for the layout. Within 24 hours Dustin had sent us a price to build the house with all the upgrades that we had discussed in our meeting. At this point we still had to find a lot, and again Dustin went above and beyond giving us information on available lots that he thought were a good deal in the current housing environment and in the area that we wanted to build. We closed on a lot at the end of January and Harpe Development dug the hole on February 1st. The in house designer, Nick, was very easy to work with and continually updated and changed the plans until the house was exactly what we wanted. During the build process, Cory was fantastic at returning phone calls and meeting with us to discuss and re-discuss the details that we were putting into the house. Since we had never built a house before we required a lot of assistance which seemed second nature to Dustin, Cory and Nick. Our house was finished on 5/14/10 (three months and two weeks for the total build) as promised and on budget. We are very happy with our new, Energy Star qualified, home. It is EXACTLY what we wanted. We could not have had a better experience building a new home. We would strongly recommend Harpe Development to anyone considering building or moving.

My fiancée and I were looking at building a home back in 2008 and we met with every builder in Southeastern Wisconsin. Our impression of most is that they wanted to force us into a house to make a quick buck. When we met with Cory and Dustin though, it was different. They did not try to force us into a house, yet they helped my fiancée and I build a home that fit our needs. On top of being the easiest to work with, we got so much more for our budget. Many of the features we wanted were upgrades for most builders, but were standard features with Harpe Development. After being in the house for almost two years, we know that we made the right choice for a builder. The home is very energy efficient and easy to maintain. We will build our next home with Harpe Development and suggest that anyone that is in the market for a new home to check out Harpe Development. You will be impressed from the time you walk into their beautiful model.

Wow!!! what can we say. What a pleasure it was to work with Dustin and Cory. This was our first home build and they made it easy. Thought we where going to be overwhelmed with all that needed to be done. Not at all. Cory was very helpful with interior while Dustin worked deligently with exterior. Any hick-ups that came along, they where there to resolve issues immediately. They have exceded our expectations with their abilities to have the work done in time. The also have a excellent crew working with them, from framing to electrical, carpentars,ect.. they listened to our needs and where all very patient with us. We chose Harpe Development after checking out all the other local builders in the area and Harpe, by far was able to build a quality home with better standard options for a better price than comparable builders. The owners made the building process stress free and we knew the price we were quoted was what the final draw would be for. We've been in our home for two months now and are very pleased with our home. We were very pleased with Dustin and Cory's throughoughness and attention to detail throughout the building process and at the final walkthrough. You can tell that they care about their clients and their satisfaction with their new home. Their service is unbeatable in my opinion, especially after talking to people who built a similar home as ours. They were always prompt in answering phone calls and emails with any concerns that we've had and they've been great about sending subs out to fix any imperfections that we've noticed since taking occupancy.
