We looked at several builders before we decided on Harpe. We couldn’t get to the layout, size, features, or the price point we were looking for with the other builders. Some were not even close. The adders and customization with the others were killers. However, when we spoke with Harpe, many of the options we wanted from the others were Harpe’s standard offering. Customization was reasonable and easily accomplished. It was a no brainer for us to build with Harpe.
Cory was awesome to work with through the initial selection & design and helped through the whole process when needed. Phil was amazing throughout the design process and tweaked our custom home to exactly what we asked for. Many times the same day!

We built with Harpe in 2014 and love our home. Unfortunately we had major issues with the roof installation and product as the roof aged. The original installer is out of business and no one uses the shingles we had anymore. We decided to replace the entire roof, Harpe stepped up and helped offset the cost, eight years after construction! They went out of their way to make it right.

My wife and I recently had a home built by Harpe and we could not be anymore happy!! So if you are new to the homebuilding experience or have been through it already and had a “Not so good experience”, you may want to continue to read on.

• NO PRESSURE!! Relaxed atmosphere. Extremely easy to work with!!
• Willingness to sit down with us on the weekends and nights after normal business hours to answer all of our questions. Thank you Dustin!!
• Made suggestions on different financial institutions to use. We had somewhat unusual circumstances that required us to be a bit more creative with our financing. Thank you Dustin!!
• Gave us the freedom to choose ANY plan, whether it was a Harpe model or not, that would meet all of our needs. We chose a plan we found on the internet.
• Modified the plan we found to further customize it to our needs. Phil (Architectural Designer) was extremely easy to work with and had great suggestions to customize the plan. Thank you Phil!!
• Gave us many suggestions how to stay within our budget.
• Responsiveness in a VERY timely manner from EVERYONE!!
• From the dig, to move in, was right on projected time of completion!! (4 ½ months)

In 2020, we began the process of looking for a builder to build a new home for us. After looking at several different companies, we decided to go with Harpe Development. Between sky rocketing prices and supply chain issues, we were concerned if we would get in the house on time and stay within our budget. Harpe worked with us every step of the way. From finding the perfect lot, to customizing our floor plan and the actual building of the house, we could not have been happier. We stayed within our budget and moved in 1 week ahead of schedule. We recently had our 1 year warranty walk through and there was very little that needed to be addressed. We are extremely happy with the quality of work in our home. We believe this is our forever home, but if we do decide to build again, we would go with Harpe!
